Hello there!

We are Matthew and Christine, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to introduce ourselves. Although we do not know you, we recognize that the decision you are facing is one of the most profound a person can make, and we hold deep respect and gratitude for the courage it takes to even consider it.

We know that no words can fully capture what it means to place a child in the arms of another family. What we can promise you is this: your child will be loved unconditionally, celebrated every single day, and raised with the values, warmth, and intention that we pour into everything we do together. We believe you are uniquely equipped to decide what's best for your child, and we are grateful that you are considering our family.

Know that you will always be honored in our home as the person who made our family possible. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for taking the time to get to know us.

Our Story

"Peace be with you and hello!" That's the text message Matthew sent on a cold February night in 2021 that would change everything. What started as a simple greeting through a dating app turned into something neither of us expected.

Because of COVID, our first ten weeks were spent entirely over video calls, book readings, and prayer shared across FaceTime and WhatsApp. When we finally met in person, Matthew had planned a simple picnic. But little did Christine know that Matthew had actually planned an entire day filled with activities. Like seven dates in one! This told Christine everything she needed to know about the kind of thoughtful, intentional partner he would be.

From there, our connection blossomed naturally. We cooked meals together, discovered restaurants with delicious food, and wandered through wildflower fields. We realized quickly that what we had went far beyond fun; we were aligned spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and in our vision for the future. In February of 2022, we got engaged on top of Sky Meadow Mountain, where Matthew read two poems he had written just for the occasion. And by September, we were married!

Our marriage is rooted in mutual respect, deep love, and a whole lot of laughter. We love to travel, explore new cities, and as a hobby, we work on a food blog together. When challenges arise, we lean into honest communication and a willingness to grow together. We are each other's greatest cheerleaders, and we can't wait to share the love we've built with a child.

There has never been a doubt that we wanted to have children. Adoption is something we have discussed and thought about for a long time. And as we have navigated life together, finding stability in our careers, establishing our home, and deepening our faith, our desire to open our hearts and our home to a child has only grown stronger.

We tried to conceive naturally, but after enduring ten cycles of IVF and a miscarriage, we were compelled to close that chapter. While we processed real grief during this time, it also affirmed what had already lived in both of our hearts that adoption was our calling.

Why We're Here

In many ways, it still feels like exactly that, a calling. We have always been passionate about offering a child not only a loving home but also the chance to grow up in an environment that emphasizes love and stability. Our faith especially plays a large role in how we view this process as a beautiful way to extend our family and live out our values.

We both come from families where love, sacrifice, and care for one another are foundational. We are also a couple who takes growth seriously. We have been challenged and encouraged to become the best versions of ourselves, and we feel truly prepared for the beautiful responsibility of raising a family.

Before You Go

Our greatest commitment to our child is to love them unconditionally, fully, completely, and without reservation. We will raise him or her in a home with the assurance that someone is in their corner, through every joy and every challenge that life brings. Our child will grow up surrounded by warmth, laughter, and a family that shows up for them every single day.

We also promise to honor where they come from. Our child will grow up knowing that the decision you made came from a place of profound love that you wanted the very best for him or her and that your courage made their story possible. That is something we will hold with great care for the rest of our lives.

To you, thank you. What you are doing is one of the most selfless acts a person can offer another. Thank you again for considering us. We deeply admire and respect you for the strength it takes to be where you are right now. Whatever path lies ahead for you, we wish you peace, healing, and every good thing life can bring.
